Hotel Features. Since E.M. Statler built this hotel in 1927, the Boston Park Plaza Hotel has hosted presidents, business leaders, sports personalities and entertainers. On site restaurants include McCormick & Schmick's which serves an extensive seafood menu prepared from freshwater and saltwater fish. Celebrity Chef Todd English's steakhouse, Bonfire, features prime cuts of beef enhanced with European and Latin American influences. Swan's Café presents an American menu and prepares afternoon tea service. Whiskey Park is a stylish cocktail lounge that draws after dark crowds.
